Nicotine causes include deposits in blood vessels, especially in the capillaries. And what does this mean? Exactly, the blood flow is impaired, the supply of the skin with nutrients and oxygen is not guaranteed optimal. In short, the metabolism of the skin is disturbed.
And something else is this: nicotine is poison for vitamin C. This vitamin is needed for the development of collagen. The collagen fibers are responsible for Structure, responsible for the strength of the connective tissue. Too little collagen that is a flabby skin means without tension.
If we still consider that the moisture in the smoker's skin is often too low, the picture perfect:
- Cell division in the deeper layers of the skin is too little excited.
- the natural exfoliation of dead cells in the horny layer takes place slowly.
- The skin loses its elasticity, is doughy.
