The Lord's Prayer I belong to no religion and attend church primarily because of my beloved stained glass window. I belong to no sect, not even an umbrella organization, or even sports club. And by the way, only the ADAC I'm faithful since my first driver's license tag, and thanks to my old car I have more close contacts with the yellow angels, as I like. But that's another subject. What concerns me: I count myself to any faith community, and put extreme value my independence. Also for this reason I am convinced of Reiki, for I was taught that the dignity of the individual is inviolable. That a Reiki treatment or inaugurate such a Satsang should, as a holy encounter, and always respect for the man who confided to me, is the measure. But that's kind of a different topic. What I'm getting at is that although I am not religious, but pray. And this with fondness a very old tradition affected sacred text: the Our Father. Anything but biblical proof, these are just lines of text somehow stayed with me stick and I am not afraid to stand by them. "Our Father in heaven," so begins the prayer. And I connect to a higher power. I would call them "the source of all that is" awake or the "Great Spirit", but I definitely like the idea of a paternal aspect to me to have. Someone I can ask for help. "Hallowed be thy name" - there is nothing to with respect (here we have it again) to face it, which I entrust myself so now. And once you look around the room: God has done incredible things! Holy without end. Nature. The animals. "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done" I can only emphasize that, because the God in whom I believe is a lover. A Gracious. A patient man. And so much more. And I guess his plan is an excellent. It just feels like that. Just that we humans just do everything possible to make this plan burst like the bubble of life. "As in heaven, on earth," is it more, and it reminds me of an old friend who said to me years ago, half sad, half amused, "all hope after death, in paradise, it does not closely and recognize that we are already in paradise ! live here on earth. Now. " "Give us this day our daily bread today," let us go hungry, give us some advice to nourish ourselves properly, and mentally. "Forgive us our trespasses" - this sentence I'm working again, because I believe in debt is limited. I look at life, thanks to my many wonderful teachers, as a great learning project, but clearly guilty as charged we all are more often than we think, and it's good to know that no matter how we have screwed up once again to others, but above all to ourselves, where we were not faithful to us is figuratively considered a loving hand on his shoulder, which indicates it is ok. And I do with a sigh on in my life. With the optimism to get the ultimate curve. "As we forgive our debtors" works will also be easier if we can look at what has happened to us by others as a learning and development process. Quite honestly, making the whole thing in itself is not usually better, but manages to let go. "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." Here, too, once again: Help me, myself to be faithful. Me to behave appropriately. The light to be, you'd like to see in the world. "For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen." So be it. History is but a round, I think. For me, more relevant than ever. And this prayer is pure meditation for me. Then it's me getting better. Here I come to rest. I wish you all, and certainly not just at Christmas time to pray the courage. to find your own prayers and send off. To ask for help. To think about themselves. To hope. And be it with an old prayer or in new words.
